Dear Cursillo Community,
I hope this letter finds you all in great spirits and abundant faith. I am writing to share an exciting initiative that is set to enhance our community's connection and involvement across parishes in Trenton.
As you know, our Cursillo family thrives on spiritual growth, fellowship, and sharing God’s love.
In line with this mission, we are launching the Parish Ambassador Initiative. The goal of this initiative is to create a more vibrant and united community by posting and promoting events taking place within our various parishes throughout Trenton.
What is the Parish Ambassador Initiative?
The Parish Ambassador Initiative involves appointing ambassadors from each parish to serve as liaisons between their church and the Cursillo community. At this point and time, we have 12 cursillistas who have agreed to volunteer to become Ambassadors in their Parish. These ambassadors will help us to get blurbs posted in their Parish Bulletin containing a short synopsis explaining the Cursillo Movement, as well as keep us all informed about upcoming events, activities, and spiritual gatherings in their respective parishes.
How will we be informed of these events, activities and gatherings?
To facilitate this communication as we gather information given to us by our Parish Ambassadors, you can expect to see us posting events soon, utilizing the Prayer Tree email as well as making announcements at our Monthly School Of Leaders meetings and at our Ultreya meetings - All wonderful resources that are integral to our community. Each ambassador will have the opportunity to make sure that everyone stays updated on upcoming events, activities, and spiritual gatherings in their respective parishes by communicating with one of three committee member contacts.

How Does This Benefit Us?
Our primary aim for Parish Ambassadors in union with Cursillo Community is to build relationships and bring awareness of Cursillo within their Parish. We feel this is a way to foster one of our core principles….”Make A Friend, Be A Friend, Bring That Friend To Christ. “
● Increased Awareness of our Cursillo Movement:
By sharing events across parishes, every member will have access to a wider variety of spiritual experiences and activities. THINK - PIETY, STUDY AND ACTION!
● Encouraging Participation:
With clear visibility of events, we hope to see higher engagement among community members, drawing us closer as a family in Christ, and continuing our formation.
● Strengthening Community:
This initiative will foster a sense of unity as we participate in each other's parish events, supporting one another and growing in faith together. It can be a way to meet possible candidates, as the ambassadors work within their parishes, and we are there to show Cursillo Community. APOSTOLIC ACTION!
Next Steps
We invite interested members to step forward as Parish Ambassadors for their respective parishes. If you feel called to serve in this capacity, please respond to this letter by contacting us directly at:

We encourage all to attend whether you’re interested in becoming a Parish Ambassador or not. We strongly encourage all Cursillistas to learn more about this initiative so that as we move forward and begin to post events and activities it is our hope that the community will have opportunities to participate and support in this initiative. For this mission to be effective we need community involvement.
Thank you for your continued support, prayers, and dedication to our shared mission. With your participation, we believe this initiative will enhance our spiritual journey, grow our movement and unite us as one body in Christ. DECOLORES!
With all my best wishes and warm regards,
